Chitter Chatter - Louella, Rings and Cherry lips!

Hello there! I hope you are well.

I haven't posted recently because I have been really busy with school work...yeah I'd much rather be blogging trust me! I thought I'd do a little update about things I've been doing and loving.

Now this makes me very very excited and happy!!

Vloggers and bloggers Zoella and Sprinkle of Glitter a.k.a Zoe and Louise have there own page in Shout magazine! I'm sure you already know about them.  I really love these guys. I think they are really talented at what they do. I am so happy for them and I hope their success continues.

Jewellery wise I've been wearing these rings a lot. Either stacking them or wearing them individually. I bought them from Newlook. They have really nice and trendy jewellery for very reasonable prices.

I know the craze of Maybelline Babylips has already been but I recently bought the one in Cherry me. I was pleasantly surprised at how pigmented it was and how much colour pay off I got. Usually lip balms only tint your lips but this one is gives amazing buildable colour.

I've been looking through some of my old photos and found this funny snap of some penguins having a swim!
Haha how cute! I can't remember when or where this was taken but it did make me laugh.

This has to be one my favourite little messages I stumbled across on tumblr. I think its something we all need to remember.

That's all for now. Thank you for reading.

Day to Night Braided Hair Look

Hello there! I hope you are well.

I really like a fish tail braid. I think it looks really pretty and more complex than it actually is. It is also something a bit different to the usual 3 strand braid. This post is showing you how to do a cute fish tail braid for the day then how to put it up in a nice little bun for the evening.

To begin with take a piece of hair from above the ear on both sides of your head and bring them round to the back of your head.
Then take another piece of hair from just below the first left piece, cross it over the left piece to the inside of the right section. Do the same for the right side.
Continue this pattern until it reaches the nape of your neck and look a little bit like this.
Now you can braid the rest of your hair like you would do for a normal fish tail braid.
Take a piece of hair from the outer left side and cross it over to the inner right section. Then take a piece of hair from the outer right side and cross it over to the inner left section.
Repeat until you have fully braided your hair. You can make this as messy or as neat as you want! That's you finished for the first look.

It is really quick and easy to create an elegant bun from the braid.
All you need to do is twist the braid into a bun shape at the nape of your neck.
To secure it into the shape you want use hair grips.
Just hair spray it into place and you are good to go! Again you can make this as smart or as casual as you wish.

I hope you enjoyed these hair looks. If you do recreate them do let me know! That's all for now.

Minimal Make-up Look

Hello there! I hope you are well.

This post is going to be showing you a minimal make-up look (as I'm sure you can tell by the title). This is very light and simple for when you are are just popping out to the shops or to see a friend for example and you don't want to go out with no make-up on but you don't want to go over the top.

These are the products I will be using to create the look:

Firstly, I put on my foundation 'Rimmel Wake Me Up' in 010 light porcelain. This is a fairly light coverage foundation which gives a healthy glow so is perfect for this look.

Then I use the fair shade of 'Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer' under my eyes and to cover up any
spots or redness on my face.

To set my base I use 'Rimmel Stay Matte Powder' in the translucent shade. This helps the make-up stay on longer and helps to prevent any oiliness so concentrate it on where you put concealer and anywhere on your face which is prone to get oily. If you have dry skin, this may not be necessary.

To add some colour to my face I contour with the brown shade in my 'Sleek Face Form palette' you only need to use a dusting of this in the hallows of your cheeks and across your temple. Then go in with the blusher on the apples of your cheeks and brushing lightly across your cheek bones.

For eyebrows I fill them in with Cappuccino from the 'Sleek Au Naturel Eye shadow palette'. For course you can use whatever you prefer it's just this colour suits me. To finish off my eyebrows I use 'Maybelline Brow Drama'. This is an eyebrow mascara which you use on your eyebrow hairs like you would mascara. It makes your actual eyebrows more noticeable and therefore more natural. My shade is dark blonde.

Next onto the eyes, I actually use the Sleek Face Form palette I used before. I just brush on the highlighter over the lid and use the contour shade in the crease to create a shadow and define the eye. It's easier and looks subtle. Then I just use on coat of 'Maybelline The Falsies' on my lashes. I use the waterproof one.

Finally I put 'Maybelline Baby Lips' in the colour Peach Kiss on my lips.

I hope you enjoyed this make-up tutorial kind of post. If you recreate it, let me know. If there is any other tutorials you would like me to do comment down below. Thanks for reading!
